Large goods vehicle (LGV) drivers also known as HGV drivers are those who holds the license of driving a large goods vehicle (also heavy goods vehicle, medium goods vehicle, LGV and HGV), is the European Union term for any truck with a gross combination mass (GCM) of over 3,500 kilograms(7,716 lb).

Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) is defined as a motor vehicle constructed principally for the conveyance of persons, where the vehicles tare weight does not exceed 4500 kg. For Example: sedan, station wagon, etc.

Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is the certificate that is the final step and makes a trainee eligible for being a holder of a driving license.

C1-License is a license that allows a person to drive a medium sized vehicle that weighs between 3500kg and 7500kg on public roads. The holder of license should of 18years of age.

C1-E License is the license that entitles the holder to drive Lorries with more than 7.5 t. Combination with trailers may weigh up to 12 t but only to be used privately not for public.
